The best home made jewelry cleaners

These home made products are the best cleaner for your jewelry and it's totally safe for your skin and jewelry also. Let's go!


1. ALKA - SELTZER:

Drop your dull looking jewelry in a glass of fizzing Alka - Seltzer for couple of minutes. It will shine. Easy and safe.


2. ALUMINIUM FOIL:

You can do in this way also. One part of a foil put in a small bowl. Fill the bowl with hot water and mix with one spoon of bleach FREE powdered loundry detergent. NOT LIQUID. ( for example Tide) Put the jewelry in it and let it soak. Rinse it well and do the air dry.


3. BAKING SODA:

To remove build - up tarnish from your silver , make a thick paste with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 tsp of water. Mix it until you make paste. Apply with a damp spondge and gently rub, rinse and duff dry.

To polish your gold jewelry, cover with a light coating of baking soda, pour a little bit of vinegar over it, rinse and clean.


4. BEER:

Get the shine back in your solid gold rings and other jewelry also by pouring a bit of beer, and rubbing it gently . Use the clean towel to dry. ( Another half of beer you can use also - to drink! :D )


5. KETCHUP:

Let ketchup do the work of shining tarnished silver. Rings, bracelets, neckleses, earings put in a small bowl of ketchup for a few minuts. PLEASE DON'T LET IT STAY LONGER - YOUR JEWELRY WILL BE DAMAGED!


6. TOOTHPASTE:

Use your old toothbrush and small amount of toothpaste, spread all over your jewelry and gently brush it until you see the orange foam coming out. That means it's over. Rise it and gently dry it with clean towel.
